Hyla - Buyer Beware!
BUYER BEWARE! This is the worst vacuum!
It has the strength of a grandma! We layed down carpet, the hyla couldn't pick it up. We celebrated Christmas with a real pine tree, nope, didn't have the strength to pick up pine needles! What happens to your laundry after you wash and dry clothing?
Lint. Right. Same with carpets. Think of the bag from a traditional vacuum, all that carpet lint gets collected.
Now hyla suggest flushing it down the toilet. What do you think happens to all the lint, nylon, polyester, whatever the carpet is made out of. Now what do you think that's doing to your plumbing? Not good!
It plugs it up. Not everything vacuumed with be biodegradable. What if you have a party with confetti. A candy wrapper, or any plastic.
Our boys like air soft. We have bb's around, that fall out. So say you vacuum plastic, you can't flush it, so what do thou do with it? We ended up dumping it outside.
How pretty is that? Now we have to go clean up after our vacuum! As a mother of 5, with 1 son having asthma, and a previous kirby owner! This filter vacuum system would get a .5 the carpet looks pretty and the smell is nice and the attachments are nice, yet the maintenance, upkeep, and filtration are such a pain that NONE of the kids like to vacuum with it!
All of then prefer the big kirby, because it's strong and works! It's faults advertisement! At least out salesman promised all sorts of goodness from thud little machine. Just know, if you by this, look at the entire picture!
I wish someone would of pointed out the reality of this machine. Also, after you use it, our kids didn't dump it immediately after, even sitting until the next day, it STinks to high heaven!!! I'd change 100 pooy diapers over cleaning that stick bomb! This is a light work vacuum, and loud air filter.
It's quieter than a regular vacuum, yet the hum bothered the kids, they'd ask to please turn that loud noise off.
Our kids are 9yrs-17yrs. We all regret getting it!
Reason of review: Bad quality.
