Hyla
Reviews and Complaints
Hyla does not stand behind their products
Bought the Hyla vac system and air freshening Tadpole. Within three months of using the Tadpole it quit working.
Was told I put something in it that I shouldn’t have. Not so...only used the oil recommended. Oh yes I only used it at night so you could say I only used it a month and a half. My local Hyla refused to refund my money or replace it.
Customer service is dead I guess. I will shout to the rooftop on every social medial available that this company does not stand behind their products. Oh not enough words? Hyla sucks!
They will not stand behind their products.
Hyla is bad. Buy Rainbow or Dyson.
Over priced and reps wanted nothing to do with you once you
Terrible company ethics

Door to door harrassment

Sales101
My family has been selling water machines for approximately 10 years in the area we live. I hate to see the negative reviews and then people who claim they are salesman of the company being less than professional to our clientele.
It is people that are rude and deceptive and lie to make a sell that ruin the market for people like me and my family. I sell Hyla because I have sold nearly every other water machine and it's simply the best. It's a large basin machine so it holds more water for more filtration and it is easier to empty. Hyla has made it completely user friendly by removing the old basin top cover, removing latches, removing cord hooks, and giving the machine lights and timers and remote controls.
I used Rainbow vacuums as a kid and over time they simply fall apart. The new rainbow has a filter on the back and we preach no filter, no filter, no filter when it comes to your Hoover or Dyson so why is that any different. My only complaint with Hyla is the power attachment has a single cord running up the hose and I wish it would integrate the cord like the older pro-aqua machine. But for the sake of sales and service I believe Hyla is the very best that there is...
if there was anything better I would sell that! Seriously. Reviews serve a purpose of giving people relevant information to a product not arguing with someone back and forth and cursing at each other. I've had more cancellations this month than ever before because of the reviews being posted that have absolutely no relevance to me, my business, my attitude, or my product.
Everyone else's drama is affecting the way I put food on my family's table. I chose this as a career, I'm not a college student trying to make a buck and or getting fooled into making thousands per month and not reading the fine print that says I must do "x" amount of demos to receive a paycheck. I love what I do. And if you can find anything, anywhere that isn't marked up even a little so that some person can make a living, please let me know.
Even Albertsons buys their items and marks them up for the consumer. Hyla doesn't fit the pyramid scheme relationship because nobody is being taken advantage of, at least the way we run our business. I make a little bit of money and my distributor does as well. Overall the machine is promised to last if you take care of it and put water in it and dump the water out.
Each vacuum or air wash gives you a cleaning as if the machine was brand new because the new water is the new filter. Cost effective. In comparison to the today $800 Dyson, how much would it cost to replace the filter each time you vacuumed? It has a dry filter with a negative correlation for clogging.
Meaning each use the machine loses more and more airflow and just because the machine motor is running it doesn't mean it's constantly picking up the same amount. Once you use a water machine and it's a good experience, your house is cleaner, and smells better, the sale was a pleasant experience, the salesman teaches you how to use the machine, I can confidently say it would be hard to see someone go back to using a shark, bissel, or Hoover. If someone is in your home selling you something be courteous to them and rest assured knowing it's probably worth more than you think. I caution everyone buying used machines and say if you get a used one and it works as advertised and has every piece and last you forever congratulations, if you get it and it's missing pieces amor doesn't work, or works for a short period and the motor quits or something god forbid, it would have been better to buy a machine that is still sold for less than MSRP or as some are calling high pressure sales, I call it making you a deal now so you don't waste my time or yours.
You at least know what you're getting from me and I will show you exactly how well the machine will work after I leave. If you suffer from a stinky house or vacuum, allergies, asthma, headaches, or spend too much on vacuums or air fresheners, I challenge you to look at a Hyla, if I show it to you, ask me anything you'd like, if you don't wake up feeling like it was the best money you ever spent, call me I'll come and get it. I want my customers to have positive things to say about me and my machine, if you wouldn't do that I don't mind getting a call or text to come get the machines within the three day cancellation, sure it hurts, but it's absolutely disgusting that some distributors are saying it has to be mailed or this that or the other. Good luck to all consumers and please don't let one bad Direct sales experience ruin you getting a great machine.
They are absolutely worth whatever the sales guy tells you, high end machines are expensive. If you want a machine for less than $1,000 keep using a stinky dry filtered Kirby, Hoover, or Dyson.
Water machines work and leave the water looking like you just shampooed your carpet even though the carpet is totally dry! Thank you
Just a lie
Buyer Beware!
BUYER BEWARE! This is the worst vacuum!
It has the strength of a grandma! We layed down carpet, the hyla couldn't pick it up. We celebrated Christmas with a real pine tree, nope, didn't have the strength to pick up pine needles! What happens to your laundry after you wash and dry clothing?
Lint. Right. Same with carpets. Think of the bag from a traditional vacuum, all that carpet lint gets collected.
Now hyla suggest flushing it down the toilet. What do you think happens to all the lint, nylon, polyester, whatever the carpet is made out of. Now what do you think that's doing to your plumbing? Not good!
It plugs it up. Not everything vacuumed with be biodegradable. What if you have a party with confetti. A candy wrapper, or any plastic.
Our boys like air soft. We have bb's around, that fall out. So say you vacuum plastic, you can't flush it, so what do thou do with it? We ended up dumping it outside.
How pretty is that? Now we have to go clean up after our vacuum! As a mother of 5, with 1 son having asthma, and a previous kirby owner! This filter vacuum system would get a .5 the carpet looks pretty and the smell is nice and the attachments are nice, yet the maintenance, upkeep, and filtration are such a pain that NONE of the kids like to vacuum with it!
All of then prefer the big kirby, because it's strong and works! It's faults advertisement! At least out salesman promised all sorts of goodness from thud little machine. Just know, if you by this, look at the entire picture!
I wish someone would of pointed out the reality of this machine. Also, after you use it, our kids didn't dump it immediately after, even sitting until the next day, it STinks to high heaven!!! I'd change 100 pooy diapers over cleaning that stick bomb! This is a light work vacuum, and loud air filter.
It's quieter than a regular vacuum, yet the hum bothered the kids, they'd ask to please turn that loud noise off.
Our kids are 9yrs-17yrs. We all regret getting it!
Worst vacuum
Free Gift SCAM
This company send people down to knock on your door and offer you a free gift box of water filter for nothing. They just ask for us to give them a feedback.
Then ask us if we would like a free cleaning service which u will have to sign n return to them.
I cancelled the cleaning appt and was threathened to be billed for that FREE GIFT and demanded me to return it to their office. Such inconvinience and poor service!
Past Contractor...
I worked for an LLC in my hometown for a bit and the company is not a company it is a pyramid scheme that tricks people looking for work and those that they sell the vacuum, that they try to pass off as mainly an air purifier, to and con people of money, time and patience. The scheme is just that a scheme.
If you bought the product you will not actually have any type of warranty, you will not get a refund/be able to cancel even within the first 3 days and you will be out over $3,000 when the dang thing is sold online for half the price.
I give warning to anyone wanting to buy or work for an affiliate of Hyla to turn around and run, FAST. The product and hassle are not worth the headache or to do any leg work for.
Preferred solution: The scheme artists to leave and never come back. Not give German engineering such a *** name.
Please call me asap!
Late for appointment after all the gimmicks
A chinese rep knocked on our door to give a box of tap water filter and said it’s a free gift for a survey. I refused to accept the box but she left it with me anyway after she said she needs my contact as proof she has carried out her job.
So now their singapore office called requesting to fix a cleaning demo to just gather feedback. They also told me to return the tap water filter to their office if I don’t concede. So we fixed it at 4pm and no surprise, no one turned up.
I received a call at 4.45pm that their guy is at my place. If this company can’t even be on time, I doubt there’s much to expect from their service and product.

As far as I know the "tadpoles" aren't for sale and are free gifts through the referral program.
This sounds like an issue that could be resolved by contacting the importer, (954) 571-****
